Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior AI Security Professional to join the CBP Cyber Security Directorate Security Operations Center in Ashburn, VA. You will test AI capabilities, identify vulnerabilities, and help design secure AI deployments within CBP networks.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage timelines, stay current with AI/ML trends, and develop best practices for model development and deployment while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field; 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret Clearance required; CBP background clearance.
• Strong understanding of generative AI models, prompt engineering, NLP tasks, and NLP workflows.

Responsibilities

• Test capabilities to identify vulnerabilities in AI implementations.
• Identify areas vulnerable to AI-assisted attacks and help implement protections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with enterprise security requirements.
• Stay updated on AI/ML trends and best practices for model development and deployment.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies throughout the project lifecycle.
