Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is seeking an experienced security engineer to join the Security Platform team. You will design and build AI-driven security solutions, automation workflows, and self‑service capabilities that reduce manual work while strengthening controls.

You will partner with Security, Privacy, Compliance, Risk, IT, and Engineering teams to translate challenges into scalable products, leveraging AI to improve efficiency and security posture across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Software/Automation Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience coding, using APIs or performing technical integrations.
• Experience automating business or security processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Devin, Trae, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of security concepts and controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative solutions to enhance our security and compliance posture.
• Creating AI agents, intelligent workflows, and security copilots to automate processes and reduce manual effort.
• Build internal security products, self-service portals, and autonomous response capabilities by leveraging LLMs and modern software engineering practices.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate challenges into scalable technical solutions and drive adoption of new security capabilities.
• The ideal candidate is passionate about solving business problems through engineering and leveraging AI to eliminate repetitive work.
