Job summary

EY is seeking an AI Security Engineer to own the security posture of EY’s Agentic AI platform end to end. You will shape threat models, enforce secure-by-default practices, and lead red teaming across cloud-native and AI systems.

This role spans governance, tooling, and client engagements in highly regulated environments. The ideal candidate has deep cloud-native security experience, hands-on AI threat expertise, and a pragmatic, policy-driven approach to security engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Security, or related technical field.
• 10+ years in security engineering or offensive security with production ownership.
• Cloud-native and Kubernetes security experience in production environments.
• Hands-on with workload identity and secrets management, PKI lifecycle.
• Experience securing AI/ML systems, including threat surfaces like prompt injection.
• Threat modelling applied to real systems with evidence of implemented controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform threat model across agent autonomy, tool invocation, and data supply chains.
• Define security controls for infrastructure, Kubernetes, identity, and data handling.
• Set secure-by-default contracts with templates, sandboxing, and network policy.
• Lead AI red teaming and adversarial testing before clients/s regulators.
• Own defense against agentic threat classes and prompt-injection risks.
• Secure model and knowledge supply chain with SBOM, provenance, and attestations.
• Define Kubernetes hardening baselines and tenant isolation assurances.
• Engage with client CISOs/regulators and provide assurance artifacts.
