Job summary

Coupa Software, Inc. is seeking a Sr Security Architecture Manager to lead the design and implementation of secure AI/ML security frameworks across our global platform.

You will partner with data science, engineering, and legal teams to translate risk into resilient, ethical architecture for AI systems. The role demands a tenacious security leader with 10+ years in information security, strong AI governance experience, and hands-on cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, data science, or information security.
• 10+ years in information security with at least 5 years in security architecture.
• Experience securing high-scale data or AI environments.
• Knowledge of NIST AI RMF, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, ISO 27001.
• Proficiency designing secure AI architectures on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience with Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, and Azure OpenAI/ChatGPT is a plus.
• IAM for automated agents and privacy-enhancing technologies.
• Mastery of firewalls, IDPS, SIEM, and endpoint security in hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Secure AI architecture for AI/ML pipelines, LLMs, and automated systems.
• Conduct risk analyses targeting AI threats like prompt injection, model inversion, data poisoning.
• Develop AI governance standards and policies tailored to AI development, including data provenance and model integrity.
• Provide AI security guidance to data science, DevOps, and leadership teams.
• Evaluate emerging security technologies (AI-driven SIEM, automated Red Teaming, privacy tech).
• Ensure AI deployments comply with EU AI Act, GDPR, and HIPAA.
• Participate in security reviews of third-party AI providers and foundational model creators.
• Create data flow diagrams illustrating the movement of data through AI models.
• Mentor junior staff on AI safety and security.
