Job summary

Squirro is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer in New York to join the global Delivery team. You will deploy, customize, and operate our AI-powered search platform for enterprise customers, working with Python-based backends and REST integrations.

You’ll collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to design robust solutions, optimize relevance with Elasticsearch, and implement agentic AI workflows in hybrid Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Strong Python experience and ability to build scalable AI-driven search solutions.
• Experience in technical consulting or software engineering roles with customer interaction.
• Proven track record deploying and supporting Linux-based systems and production Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with LLMs, Agentic Workflows, and AI integration patterns.
• Experience with REST APIs, backend development, and third-party integrations.

Responsibilities

• Client Engagement & Solution Delivery: manage solution qualification, implementation, and support phases.
• Solution Design & Technical Consulting: translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Platform Customization & Development: extend the Squirro platform with backend components and integrations.
• Search, AI & Data Engineering: implement and optimize enterprise search with AI tooling.
• Infrastructure & Deployment: deploy and manage solutions in Linux/hybrid environments.
• Documentation & Cross-functional Collaboration: maintain docs and collaborate on product improvements.
