Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in risk, finance, compliance, or audit roles in fintech or payments.
• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred in STEM, business, finance, economics, or related field.
• Advanced skills in R, Python, SQL and data visualization tools (Quicksight, Tableau).
• Experience with AI risk governance and oversight of AI-focused initiatives.
• Strong understanding of risk and controls management, monitoring, testing, and validation.
• Proven project management, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence across leadership levels.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and practical applications.
• Ability to drive execution and operational excellence with minimal supervision.
• Leadership and strategic development experience; fintech risk focus preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand business processes, risks, and controls with stakeholders across Product, Policy, Data Science, Operations, Accounting, and Compliance.
• Develop AI risk governance frameworks with expansion-ready controls and oversight guidelines.
• Drive risk and control assessments and document processes, flows, and control definitions in a GRC tool.
• Lead walkthroughs and testing with cross-functional teams to identify gaps and propose recommendations.
• Document testing and validation results for models and controls.
• Create dashboards and visualizations for daily control monitoring.
• Analyze data from multiple sources to inform conclusions and recommendations.
• Lead remediation, action plans, and timely issue resolution with stakeholders.
• Communicate concisely to non-technical audiences in presentations.
• Develop automation using AI to improve risk governance processes.
• Proactively shape functional strategy and drive system migrations.
• Operate in ambiguous environments and build scalable analytics frameworks.
• Mentor team members and share knowledge.
• Track industry trends to develop best-in-class risk governance solutions.
