Sciforium, an AI infrastructure company, seeks a Senior Research Scientist to push breakthroughs in large language models, generative AI, and scalable training systems. You will lead cutting-edge research, design novel algorithms using PyTorch and JAX, and coordinate with engineering teams to bring prototypes into production.

You will mentor junior researchers, publish in top venues, and contribute to building a world-class AI research culture at Sciforium.

Competenze

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Mathematics or related field.
• 5+ years of academic or industry research experience.
• Proven track record with publications in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS/ICML/ICLR/CVPR/ICCV/ECCV).
• Strong coding proficiency in Python with PyTorch and/or JAX.

Mansioni

• Lead research in advanced ML areas including LLMs, generative AI, modeling, optimization, diffusion and Transformer architectures.
• Design, implement, and evaluate novel ML algorithms using PyTorch and JAX.
• Conduct large-scale distributed training experiments on multi-GPU/TPU systems.
• Drive performance improvements via debugging, profiling, and pipeline optimizations.
• Produce high-quality research outputs: papers, reports, patents, and reproducible code.
• Collaborate with engineering/product teams to translate research into production systems.
• Stay ahead of research developments and integrate techniques into Sciforium's AI roadmap.
• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to a world-class AI research culture.
