Job summary
Kroger Technology & Digital is seeking a Solution Architect to design and enable Data Platform capabilities that drive Kroger's Data and AI strategy. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Security teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance platform solutions across the enterprise.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher in computer science or related field.
- Masters preferred in technical domain.
- Proven leadership in large software/automation projects.
- Experience integrating OSS in high-volume production.
- Strong knowledge of architecture principles and patterns.
- Experience shaping product strategy with technology input.
Responsibilities
- Develop the overall software and deployment architecture across teams.
- Partner with vendors to integrate capabilities as needed.
- Present cost/benefit analyses to leadership for architectural decisions.
- Lead discovery to develop high-level architecture and design.
- Create architecture artifacts (C4 models, diagrams, blueprints).
- Provide technical leadership aligning projects with company objectives.
- Mentor junior architects and promote reuse of intellectual capital.
