Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a technical field relevant to defense R&D.
- 2+ years of embedded software/firmware engineering experience.
- Strong foundation in applied mathematics and numerical analysis.
- Familiarity with functional languages (C/C++, Rust, Python, CUDA).
- Experience in scientific computing, optimization, and probabilistic models.
- Knowledge of DSP and image processing; controls/estimation theory.
Responsibilities
- Drive rapid prototyping for R&D projects in radar, sensors, and C2 systems.
- Use high-fidelity modeling and simulation to quantify tech impact.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate software and hardware for radar systems.
- Implement rigorous software QA processes to ensure reliability.
- Engage stakeholders to align outcomes with mission-critical objectives.
- Mentor junior team members and promote continuous improvement.
