Job summary

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company focusing on advancing AI, sensor fusion, and tracking for air and missile defense. Our Air & Missile Defense Radar team develops real-time tracking software to detect and track airborne threats with high performance across many targets.

We collaborate with radar engineers, system architects, and customers to deliver production-grade solutions, validated by modeling, simulation, and field tests. Strong CS background and math are required.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Solid foundation in mathematics: linear algebra, probability, statistics, and/or differential equations.
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals: design patterns, testing, version control, and debugging.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for novel air and missile threats.
• Develop high-performance, real-time software systems that process radar data and track dozens to hundreds of targets.
• Build and leverage modeling & simulation environments to validate tracking performance.
• Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking into end-to-end defense systems.
• Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments where milliseconds matter.
• Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests to ensure deployment success.
