Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager I for AI Programs within the Core Systems group in San Jose, CA. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs from planning to delivery, coordinating engineering, product, and data teams across the company.

You will define technical roadmaps, manage risks, and communicate with executives while advancing data infrastructure and AI-driven initiatives that scale globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience executing AI/ML programs and leveraging AI for productivity/automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage cross-product area programs of high complexity, high risk, and scope and critical customer landscape.
• Drive technical products launch predictably and within defined success criteria. Shape overall direction of technical programs, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives and company goals.
• Foster strategic partnerships with leadership, engineering, and product managers to align initiatives with priorities; communicate program status to cross-functional and executive audiences.
• Introduce tooling, automation and process efficiencies; provide comprehensive support to teams, enabling high fidelity and efficacy.
• Establish new programs or transform existing programs through continuous improvement; advocate new ideas, methodologies, and best practices in program management.
