Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with strategic enterprise customers, designing and deploying AI-powered production systems end-to-end. You will own architectures, write production-grade software, and drive measurable business outcomes with reusable patterns that scale the FDE practice.

You will lead multi-workstream engagements, define operational standards, and coach junior engineers while traveling 30–50% to customer sites and AWS offices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience mentoring, leading design or architecture of systems, and communicating with senior stakeholders.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled production systems and AI agent frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across customer engagements, making cross-service architecture decisions.
