Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with enterprise customers, designing and deploying AI-powered production systems in collaboration with customer teams.

You will own outcomes end-to-end, from prototype to enterprise-scale deployment, and craft reusable architectures that scale the FDE practice. In this role you will lead multi-workstream engagements, define operational standards, and mentor engineers to raise the team’s production excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience mentoring and leading engineering teams.
• Experience communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders.
• Experience designing AI agents and production-scale AI systems is a plus.
