Job summary

Google is seeking a Product Manager to lead AI-powered email summarization features within Gmail. You will guide products from concept to launch by bridging technical and business perspectives, transforming complex problems into actionable steps for development.

In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, designers, and marketers to shape AI-driven inbox experiences, balancing performance, latency, and user predictability while expanding access to Google's information through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
• 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within GenAI, AI/ML, LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Product lead for Summarization journeys, including Topics to Catch Up on and Email AI Overviews.
• Drive strategy, roadmap, and execution of pivotal AI Inbox features to help users act on emails.
• Deliver email summaries in classic inbox, highlighting deadlines and enabling task reminders.
• Lead product definition and AI quality for summarization in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
• Set quarterly objectives and key results (OKRs), define market opportunity, and drive product roadmap to achieve goals.
