The Role

We are hiring a Senior AI Product Engineer to design and build the product experiences that make Arkero feel magical to the people who use it every day.

You live at the intersection of product, design, and engineering. You obsess over the details – empty states, loading moments, the words on the button – and you understand that great AI products are won on taste, trust, and pacing, not just model quality. You will own product surfaces end‑to‑end: shaping ideas with customers, prototyping the experience, building the AI workflows behind it, and refining until it feels right.

Key Responsibilities

• Own AI‑powered product surfaces end‑to‑end – from first sketch to production polish, including interaction design, copy, motion, and edge‑case behavior.
• Prototype with real customers, iterate on feel, and turn what works into production.
• Build the agentic workflows, retrieval systems, and LLM‑powered features behind those surfaces, and present results in ways that earn user trust.
• Craft the moments that make AI products feel magical: anticipatory defaults, well‑paced streaming, trustworthy citations, recoverable mistakes.
• Define the product patterns and interaction primitives Arkero is built on, and help set the bar for craft across the team.
• Work directly with customers – observe how they really use software, and find where AI can meaningfully change the experience.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years building customer‑facing products at a high‑quality software company, with a track record of driving complex, end‑to‑end features with visible product impact.
• Strong product sensibility and hands‑on UX experience: you care about UX, speed, and polish, you have shaped flows and interactions, and you push back when something doesn't feel right.
• Hands‑on experience building with LLMs, AI APIs, retrieval systems, or agentic workflows – and a clear point of view on what makes AI experiences feel good.
• Strong React and TypeScript, with full‑stack experience across Node and PostgreSQL.
• Comfortable working without heavy PM overhead – you help shape the problem, not just implement a solution.
• A portfolio or shipped products you can walk us through – we want to see the things you've made.
• Fluent in using Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or other AI coding agents to accelerate high‑quality product work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Product design background – prior design role or work where you owned the design as well as the code.
• Experience designing AI‑native interactions: streaming, citations, agents, copilots, or human‑in‑the‑loop workflows.
• Experience with sports, ticketing, live entertainment, CRM, or fan engagement systems is a plus.
