Job summary

EY is seeking an AI Systems Engineer to design and operate a scalable, cloud-native substrate powering EY’s AI-native platform. You’ll own Kubernetes orchestration, multi-tenancy, and GPU-enabled infrastructure across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air‑gapped environments.

You will implement infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and secure execution layers, delivering portable, reliable foundations for downstream AI workloads while collaborating with security, architecture, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands-on depth in enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with multi-tenant isolation, security, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the cluster & cloud-native platform: compute, Kubernetes, scheduling, multi-tenancy.
• Own the infrastructure foundation: OS, bare‑metal, GPU, and NVAIE readiness.
• Manage EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air-gapped modes.
• Deliver platform capabilities so downstream runtimes run safely and consistently.
• Own cluster lifecycle, autoscaling, GPU pooling, and tenancy boundaries.
• Oversee secure execution and inference with sandboxed environments.
• Direct cognitive and routing layers for model/prompt management and latency control.
• Collaborate on CI/CD/CV and GitOps to keep environments reproducible.
• Ensure cross-environment replication and patching for high availability.
• Keep the substrate modular, minimizing vendor lock-in.
