Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. seeks a highly experienced Sr Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and scale enterprise AI solutions. You will lead AI platform engineering with cloud-native architectures, MLOps, and governance across the organization.

The role focuses on production-ready AI apps, RAG, and agentic AI, leveraging AWS and Databricks to drive innovation and business transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years in Machine Learning Engineering, MLOps, Software Engineering, and related disciplines.
• 3+ years hands-on experience deploying AI/ML in cloud environments.
• Proficiency with AWS AI services (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, Step Functions, CloudFormation, ECS, EKS).
• Experience building production AI apps, RAG systems, LLM apps, and agent-based solutions.
• Expertise with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen.
• Experience designing AI governance, observability, and MLOps pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain ML, Generative AI, and Agentic AI solutions.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Software Engineers, Architects, and DevOps to deliver scalable AI platforms.
• Build LLM applications using foundation models and enterprise AI services.
• Design and implement RAG architectures with vector stores and semantic search.
• Develop AI-powered apps with advanced prompting, context management, and reasoning.
• Build AI agents and multi-agent systems for autonomous workflows and decision support.
• Establish prompt engineering, evaluation, and optimization processes.
• Translate business requirements into scalable AI-driven solutions for measurable value.
• Develop AI platforms on AWS and Databricks; implement CI/CD for AI delivery.
• Create AI observability and monitoring for data drift, hallucinations, cost, and outcomes.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, performance, security, and compliance of production AI systems.
• Evaluate emerging AI tech and enterprise adoption opportunities.
