Compensation ranges from $210,000 to $295,000 annually, alongside comprehensive benefits and stock options.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience building production platforms.
• Experience architecting and scaling AI gateways.
• Extensive experience with MLOps and building reliable systems.

Responsibilities

• Define the long-term technical vision for SpaceX’s AI platform.
• Lead initiatives with full ownership over strategy and design.
• Oversee onboarding of frontier models and compute scaling.
• Establish best practices for applied AI across the company.

Skills

Experience designing and operating large-scale AI/ML platforms

Expert-level experience with Docker/Kubernetes

Strong history of enabling organization-wide impact through technical leadership

Mastery of Python and broad expertise across modern languages

Deep passion for responsible AI
