Job summary

Truist in Charlotte, NC, seeks a senior AI/ML platform engineer to architect and govern enterprise AI capabilities. You will own the lifecycle of platform components, model registry, and experiment tracking to enable safe, scalable AI across the organization.

The role requires 7+ years in AI and data, deep knowledge of AI models and data architectures, and hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS, GitLab, and modern ML tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/DS/AI/SE or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in AI and data.
• Strong knowledge of AI models, data architectures, and analytics methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and execute the AI/ML and GenAI platform strategy aligned to enterprise standards.
• Own engineering and lifecycle management of AI/ML platform components and workflows.
• Establish DevSecOps practices for platform delivery with GitLab, CI/CD, and automation.
• Deploy IaC using Terraform; define environments, networking, and security standards.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity and risk teams to implement required controls.
