Job summary

Relativity is seeking an Advanced AI Engineer to bridge core engineering and data science, building platforms, pipelines, and practices that transform research prototypes into reliable, scalable production solutions.

You will own critical components of the machine learning lifecycle, including automated training pipelines, secure deployments, monitoring, and operational excellence. Working with senior engineers, you will drive continuous improvement across Relativity's AI platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering, with at least 1 year in ML/AI or big data.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C#.
• Production experience with Docker and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Familiarity with Prefect, Airflow, or similar orchestration.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm fundamentals.
• Experience deploying ML models in production and monitoring health.
• Strong collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ML/AI platforms with focus on scalability and security.
• Partner with data scientists, PMs, security, and data engineers to deliver ML solutions.
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines for ML models and data workflows.
• Build and enhance automated model training, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Prototype and evaluate emerging MLOps technologies to cut costs and boost capabilities.
• Deploy, monitor, tune, and troubleshoot production ML models.
• Establish health, performance, reliability, and cost metrics for AI systems.
• Participate in code and design reviews; mentor junior engineers.
