Job summary

Cribl seeks an experienced software engineer to help shape the future of AI-powered observability. You’ll work closely with the founding team and engineers to design, develop, and integrate AI features into Cribl’s product suite, delivering end-to-end capabilities across frontend and backend, and ensuring robust production readiness.

You will prototype novel AI integrations, collaborate with product and design, and stay current with evolving AI tech.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building AI features end to end in production.
• Strong fullstack experience, including designing and scaling React-based UIs and backend services with systems thinking.
• Experience with AI agent-driven product experiences, including conversational interfaces and tool calling.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocols (MCPs) and orchestration layers.
• Machine learning experience and production-grade AI system familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Productionize, launch, and operate AI-based technology integrations into Cribl’s core products.
• Partner with product & design leaders to prototype and experiment with new AI features.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AI technologies and trends.
