Job summary

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer (AI Specialist) to own the internal AI orchestration ecosystem and platform infrastructure. You will design, deploy, and maintain shared services enabling full-stack feature developers to integrate agentic AI capabilities seamlessly.

You will collaborate with the Platform Team to build scalable tools, libraries, and guardrails, while ensuring secure, auditable, and fast deployment in a hybrid Arlington-based environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building and deploying AI agent frameworks or middleware.
• Full-stack experience across frontend, API, and relational databases.
• Infrastructure as Code, container orchestration, and automated delivery tooling.
• Agile software development with emphasis on lead time and deployment frequency metrics.
• Autonomous ownership and proactive cross-team communication.
• US citizenship and eligibility for Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own AI infrastructure and orchestration for LLM interactions, tool execution, and token management.
• Build self-service tools, libraries, and abstractions to enable feature teams to leverage AI tooling.
• Optimize prompt management, embeddings, and testing patterns to speed up deployment.
• Drive platform architecture with independent hosting, versioning, and safe rollbacks within a monorepo.
• Collaborate in internal guilds and cross-team workshops, providing architectural guidance across UI, API, and data models.
