Job summary

Pacific Life in Charlotte is seeking a Sr Platform Engineer II focused on Copilot & Copilot Studio to design, implement, and support enterprise AI and automation across the organization. This hybrid role supports work in Charlotte, NC or Newport Beach, CA.

You will lead developers and collaborate with security, compliance, and platform teams to ensure secure, scalable solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, SharePoint Agents, and Power Platform capabilities to deliver measurable

Qualifications

8+ years of software/platform engineering experience in enterprise settings.
Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
Strong API development and enterprise integration knowledge.
Experience administering environments with security and governance controls.

Responsibilities

Deploy, adopt, and optimize Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot enterprise-wide.
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise agents and Copilot experiences.
Administer Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and AI environments with governance.
Develop scalable AI/automation solutions using Power Platform and Azure.
Lead architecture reviews with security/compliance teams to enforce standards.
Provide technical leadership for agents, prompts, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
Troubleshoot platform issues and escalate to makers/business teams as needed.
Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements, strategy, and roadmap.
Mentor developers on governance and development standards.
Create and maintain technical docs, guides, and runbooks.
