Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions seeks a Senior AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure for AI/ML workloads on GCP. You will own CI/CD pipelines, MLOps workflows, and IaC provisioning to enable fast, secure production deployments.

You will collaborate with AI/ML engineers and data scientists, implement robust security and observability, and automate end-to-end build, test, and deployment processes across environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
• Strong hands-on GCP experience (Vertex AI, GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, VPC, BigQuery).
• Deep exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Terraform or IaC expertise for repeatable provisioning.
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go).
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of MLOps and ML lifecycle (training, versioning, deployment, monitoring).
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring/Logging).
• Understanding of cloud security, IAM, and secrets management.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable cloud infra on GCP for AI/ML workloads.
• Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines for model training and deployment.
• Build and operate MLOps pipelines for versioning, training, and monitoring.
• Implement IaC (Terraform) for auditable environments.
• Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Establish observability and alerting for AI/ML services.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to productionize models.
• Drive security, IAM, and secrets management across environments.
• Automate build/test/deploy/rollback processes.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and perform RC analysis.
