Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer (AI Gateway, Identity & Observability) in Oaks, PA to own the design and production deployment of a provider-agnostic AI gateway. You will implement policy, rate limiting, and secure identity flows while ensuring smooth migrations and automation where possible.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on engineering across API platforms, identity or observability with production depth in at least one area.
• 4+ years building and operating API gateways in production with policy, rate limiting and authentication.
• 3+ years enterprise identity and access engineering using OAuth2 / OpenID Connect and JWT validation.
• 3+ years OpenTelemetry or distributed tracing: instrumentation and pipelines.
• 3+ years production API operations including failover, caching and incident response.
• 2+ years integrating third-party or self-hosted services into enterprise networks.
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure on at least one major hyperscaler.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AI gateway routing model traffic across cloud, providers and on‑premises with a single interface.
• Implement gateway policy: routing, rate limiting, quotas, retries, failover, caching and transformation.
• Harden services for production and migrate consumers without breaking contracts.
• Build identity and registration paths for agents with automated and guided steps.
