Job summary

WHOOP is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the AI team to help build and scale systems powering WHOOP AI’s internal and member‑facing experiences. You will work across the stack to deliver features and contribute to agent orchestration architecture.

This role, based in Boston, MA, requires 2–5 years of professional software development, hands‑on experience with Next.js/React/Tailwind, RESTful APIs, and large language model initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building and maintaining high‑quality web applications using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience building solutions leveraging Large Language Models.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to break down complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Work in a cross‑functional team alongside product managers, designers, and data scientists to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable front‑end and back‑end systems using modern frameworks and cloud technologies.
• Design and build intuitive user interfaces and integrate them with robust backend APIs to deliver seamless member experiences.
• Contribute to feature ideation, technical design, and implementation, translating business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code, following best practices for performance, security, and reliability.
• Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues while continuously improving system performance and stability.
