Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Senior AI Engineer in Chicago to build and operate an internal platform that enhances agent orchestration solutions. This role involves creating self-service workflows, standardized templates, and API-driven automation, ensuring high operational reliability and developer experience.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in ML, computer science, or engineering, with at least 8 years of experience in AI and machine learning, along with skills in CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure automation.

Qualifications

• 8 years experience with AI/DS/ML required.
• Proven experience building internal platforms and operating production services.
• Proficiency in creating reusable CI/CD pipelines and templates.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain API-driven self-service capabilities.
• Implement secure-by-default platform guardrails.
• Define and operationalize SLIs/SLOs for platform services.
• Run continuous feedback loops with platform users.
