Job summary

Aptos Retail is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to drive the design and implementation of an enterprise AI platform built on AWS Bedrock, LangChain, and microservices. You will lead architecture, development, and governance across AI agents interfacing with enterprise apps via APIs and workflows.

The role demands expert Python, FastAPI, and cloud experience, with mentoring responsibilities and a focus on scalable, auditable AI solutions in a dynamic retail tech environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on background with AI/LLM platforms and enterprise-grade solutions.
• Strong programming experience in Python and building RESTful services.
• Experience with cloud services and microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable AI agent workflows using AWS Bedrock and LangChain.
• Lead design reviews and establish engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and new graduates.
• Build multi-agent systems using AgentCore.
• Develop AI skills, tools, knowledge sources, and orchestration workflows.
• Implement prompt engineering and agent evaluation frameworks.
• Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Build domain-driven APIs using FastAPI.
• Design MCP tools and server architecture.
• Implement authentication, authorization, audit trails and governance controls.
• Establish observability, monitoring, and tracing for AI workflows.
