Job summary

OKX is building and scaling AI infrastructure to power mission‑critical ML workloads across Compliance, Trading, and Financial Products. The Senior Staff Engineer will set strategy, while also delivering hands‑on design and optimization of large‑scale AI platforms, compute and data pipelines.

You will mentor engineers, shape architecture, and drive reliability, observability, security, and operational excellence across the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in AI infrastructure or software engineering.
• Experience with AI/ML workflows, distributed systems, and large-scale data processing.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build large-scale AI infrastructure for training, inference, and deployment.
• Define platform standards and reference architectures for distributed AI workloads.
• Lead scalable system design across compute, storage, networking, and orchestration layers.
• Drive performance, reliability, and cost optimization for AI workloads at scale.
• Mentor engineers and influence architecture beyond the immediate scope.
