Coforge is hiring a Senior AI Platform Engineer to advance our entity management and knowledge-graph platform. You will shape governance, cross-references, and business context discovery while extending NER pipelines with LLMs and open-source models.

You will integrate data from multiple sources, enhance search with entity-aware capabilities, and design graph-based relationships. Strong engineering judgment and collaboration across domains are essential.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of software engineering experience on data-intensive platforms in production environments.
• Strong Elasticsearch and/or OpenSearch, information retrieval, and entity resolution techniques.
• Hands-on experience with graph databases and knowledge graphs, including Neo4j and Cypher.
• Solid experience in Applied NLP and NER using Gemma, Llama, GLiNER, spaCy, and LLM-based extraction techniques.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and observability tools such as Datadog.
• Proven ability to model complex business domains and relationships; systems-thinking mindset.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT).
• Ability to evaluate and improve AI-generated outputs with sound engineering judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools while validating generated code and architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple domains to define priorities and shape platform evolution.
• Contribute to team onboarding, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including the design and operation of data-intensive platforms in production environments.
• Strong expertise with Elasticsearch and/or OpenSearch, information retrieval systems, and entity resolution techniques.
• Hands-on experience with graph databases and knowledge graphs, including Neo4j and Cypher.
• Solid experience in Applied NLP and NER solutions using technologies such as Gemma, Llama, GLiNER, spaCy, and LLM-based extraction techniques.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and observability tools such as Datadog.
• Proven experience ingesting, synchronizing, and managing data from multiple source systems.
• Strong systems-thinking mindset with advanced architecture and data modeling capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to model complex business domains and relationships.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, and agentic workflows.
• Ability to evaluate, challenge, validate, and improve AI-generated outputs using sound engineering judgment.
• Experience implementing permission-aware data access, security controls, and restricted-data filtering mechanisms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Mining, or other asset-intensive industries.
• Exposure to large-scale enterprise data governance and master data management initiatives.
• Experience building enterprise search, discovery, or knowledge management platforms.
• Familiarity with graph visualization and relationship analytics solutions.
• Experience designing AI-powered search and retrieval systems.
