Coforge is hiring a Senior AI Platform Engineer / Knowledge Graph Engineer to evolve a core platform for entity management, governance, cross-references, and business context discovery. You will design NER pipelines using LLMs, open-source NLP models, gazetteers, and pattern matching.

You'll extend entity extraction to streaming data, improve search through entity resolution and relationship-driven exploration, and build graph-based relationship models with security controls. Remote LATAM.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including the design and operation of data-intensive platforms in production environments.
• Strong expertise with Elasticsearch and/or OpenSearch, information retrieval systems, and entity resolution techniques.
• Hands-on experience with graph databases and knowledge graphs, including Neo4j and Cypher.
• Solid experience in Applied NLP and NER solutions using technologies such as Gemma, Llama, GLiNER, spaCy, and LLM-based extraction techniques.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and observability tools such as Datadog.
• Proven experience ingesting, synchronizing, and managing data from multiple source systems.
• Strong systems-thinking mindset with advanced architecture and data modeling capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to model complex business domains and relationships.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, and agentic workflows.
• Ability to evaluate, challenge, validate, and improve AI-generated outputs using sound engineering judgment.
• Experience implementing permission-aware data access, security controls, and restricted-data filtering mechanisms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.
