Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape the future of search and analytics for observability data. You will work closely with the founding team and skilled engineers to integrate cutting-edge Generative AI technologies into Cribl's product suite, solving real customer problems in production.

You will contribute across product, backend, and frontend layers, designing scalable React-based UIs and robust backend services while staying ahead of AI trends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building AI features end to end in production.
• Experience designing React UIs and backend services.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills.
• Experience with AI agent-driven product experiences and tool-calling patterns.
• Familiarity with data, observability, and APIs in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Productionize, launch, and operate AI-based technology integrations into Cribl's core products.
• Prototype and experiment with new AI features with product & design leaders.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AI technologies and trends.
