Job summary

Teradata is seeking a Senior Staff AI Engineer to lead architecture and implementation of enterprise AI platforms. You will own end-to-end design for agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, vector stores, and AI orchestration frameworks, guiding multiple teams with strong emphasis on reliability and governance.

You will collaborate with product and architecture leaders, raise the technical bar, and contribute to scalable, secure AI services across the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 12+ years building backend services, distributed systems, or data/AI platforms.
• Proficient in Java, Go, or Python with large-scale service experience.
• Deep knowledge of distributed design, scalability, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience designing/operating production systems with SQL and NoSQL data stores.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of large-scale distributed AI systems powering Teradata’s AI platform.
• Own end-to-end architecture for AI capabilities such as agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, and vector search.
• Drive technical strategy across engineering teams and ensure reliability, safety, and governance.
