Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions seeks an experienced Principal Engineer to shape and implement AI-powered video, audio, and image processing platforms for a digital reporting system. You will lead architecture decisions, mentor teams, and deliver secure, scalable cloud-native solutions using modern AI services.

You will collaborate with Product, UX, Security, and Operations, driving DevSecOps and CI/CD across enterprise-scale projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
10+ years of software engineering experience, with 8+ years in Java/Spring Boot, React, and modern web architectures.
Experience with Node.js, REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native development.

Responsibilities

Design and develop enterprise-scale applications using React.js and Java/Spring Boot.
Build scalable microservices, APIs, and event-driven integrations.
Integrate AI services including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Speech, and Document Intelligence.
Develop secure, cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure, Kubernetes, and containerized platforms.
Establish architecture standards for security, scalability, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate across Product, UX, Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams.
Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentorship.
Drive CI/CD, DevSecOps, and cloud engineering best practices.
