Job summary

Verizon is seeking a forward-thinking Technical Product Development Manager in Illinois to direct growth of next-generation Network Automation and AI-driven products. You will blend technical leadership with strategic business acumen to shape enterprise AI platforms and agentic services across edge, cloud, and data centers.

Responsibilities include leading AI PoCs in cloud and lab settings, building scalable AI fabric, and defining roadmaps with GTM strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or four+ years of work experience.
Six+ years of relevant experience.
Five+ years in technical product management delivering enterprise networking or AI platforms.
Strong foundation in DIA, EVPL, MPLS, SD-WAN, SASE, zero-trust security or data center architectures.
Hands-on experience developing AI solutions across Edge, Cloud and Data Centers.
Ability to prototype and validate concepts in lab/multi-cloud environments.
Experience analyzing market trends to drive GTM strategy.

Responsibilities

Converge WAN topologies (SD-WAN/SASE) into a unified AI Fabric for high throughput and low latency.
Architect and productize AI services like AI Gateways and intelligent routers with MCPs.
Apply AI to automate operations and advance autonomous networks.
Design and deploy scalable AI platform infrastructure for agentic services.
Lead PoCs in public cloud and lab environments.
Benchmark performance, latency, GPU utilization, and context-fabric efficiency.
Define roadmaps and commercial models from market data.
