Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Technical Staff-Network Architect within the Engineering Technologist Team to shape next-generation AI infrastructure. You will design networks, specify fabric topologies, and coordinate with customers to meet performance goals in enterprise-scale environments.

Based in Round Rock, TX or Santa Clara, CA, you will lead end-to-end AI network architecture, work with AI frameworks, and travel 20-30% to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Expert understanding of networking technologies including switches, NICs, DPUs and AI Fabrics.
• Experience integrating AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Kubernetes for ML workloads.
• Experience with data center network design and optical distribution.
• Knowledge of networking protocol industry standards.
• Travel 20-30% and lead customer/partner projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive network and fabric design based on customer requirements and data center needs.
• Define topologies optimized for Training and Inference.
• Lead end-to-end AI network architecture across GPU, storage, cabling.
• Optimize topology and configuration for AI cluster performance.
• Collaborate with external partners to create differentiated solutions.
• Develop networking software and architectures to integrate with AI frameworks.
