Job summary

SqlDBM, the enterprise data modeling platform, is hiring into its AI team to design and build the agentic layer of the product—the loop itself, the tools agents call, how context is selected and served, and the evaluation that proves it works.

You will work on agents operating on governed enterprise data models with human oversight, and on MCP tools that enable safe external agent collaboration. The role emphasizes real systems work over simple autocomplete features.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required and clear communication.
• Experience with strongly typed languages and multi-language ecosystems.
• Demonstrated ability to design agentic systems and production-grade software.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the agentic layer of the product, including the loop and tool interfaces.
• Serve context to agents from large models with thousands of objects.
• Develop MCP tools for safe agent interaction: permissions, attribution, audit.
• Build evaluation infrastructure to measure system effectiveness.
• Think in terms of control flow, memory, and production readiness; not just API calls.
