Job summary

Waypoint's client in Tysons, VA is seeking a Senior AI/ML Software Developer with an active Top Secret clearance to join a team of engineers building AI applications and data tools for government customers.

You will work with JavaScript, Python or Java, designing and maintaining AI-driven solutions, tackling complex problems, and improving code quality with modern LLM tools. A bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience are required.

Description: Waypoint's client is seeking a dynamic Senior AI/ML Software Developer with an active Secret Clearance to join their team. The Senior AI/ML Software Developer will work alongside a team of highly skilled engineers in the development of AI applications. A motivated and qualified candidate will not only have hands-on development experience in (JavaScript, Python or Java) but also a willingness to collaborate with teams to solve problems. We're seeking curious and creative technical staff who are excited about delivering quality solutions.

This position works alongside a team of highly skilled engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of AI-driven applications and large-scale data tools for government customers. They will collaborate across teams to solve complex engineering problems and leverage modern LLM tools to accelerate development workflows and enhance code quality. This position requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and 5 years of relevant experience. An active clearance is required.

Responsibilities:
