Kegman Inc. seeks a Senior Computer Scientist (AI/ML) to lead architecture, development, and testing of advanced AI/ML methodologies for processing regional geophysical sensor data at Patrick Space Force Base, Melbourne, FL. This is a non-remote, on-site role supporting U.S. Government clients.

The ideal candidate will drive deep learning solutions, mentor engineers, and advise executives on strategic development, with an active U.S. government security clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Git version control is required.
• Proficient in signal processing of advanced waveforms (seismic, acoustic, electromagnetic, etc.).
• Expert proficiency with Python in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and development of generalized AI/ML algorithms for regional geophysical sensors.
• Architect, develop and evaluate Python code for detecting regional signal arrivals using deep networks.
• Build automated training pipelines and monitor model drift with retraining strategies.
• Serve as primary technical advisor to executives, briefing on architecture, risks, and opportunities.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in AI/ML best practices and data processing.
