Job summary

DailyPay is seeking a Senior AI & ML Scientist to join our Data Science team. You will build and maintain models that personalize the DailyPay product experience—optimizing decisions for workers, personalizing communications, and supporting fraud controls.

This role emphasizes rigorous, hands-on work with the opportunity to translate technical results into measurable business impact and collaborate across product and engineering to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ML experience in fintech or regulated domains.
• Track record shipping production models with measurable business impact.
• Experience building and maintaining reliable feature engineering pipelines with SQL and Python.
• End-to-end model deployment experience including monitoring, drift detection, and A/B testing.

Responsibilities

• Build, evaluate, deploy, and monitor ML models for personalization and fraud controls.
• Develop reliable data pipelines and features for model development.
• Translate business questions into DS solutions with product and engineering partners.
• Communicate model results and tradeoffs clearly to cross-functional teams.
• Stay current on AI/ML developments and advise on method selection.
