Qualifications

• 10+ years of legal experience in a law firm and corporate environment.
• JD degree with excellent academic credentials.
• Substantive AI/ML technical and legal expertise.
• Degree in engineering or computer science preferred.
• Registered patent attorney with in-house patent experience preferred.
• Open source licensing experience preferred.
• Passion for AI and evolving IP law.
• Strong collaborative skills to influence cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML IP matters and coordinate across legal and cross-functional teams.
• Influence product development plans to address legal/compliance use cases for customers.
• Collaborate with patent team to implement AI/ML IP protection strategy.
• Work with OSS and transactional legal teams on license compliance.
• Advise on AI/ML contractual provisions and develop playbook provisions.
• Build scalable processes to support AI/ML compliance across products.
