Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Sr Manager, AI/ML Engineering to drive AI capabilities across the enterprise in a fully remote role. You will guide teams on Generative AI, traditional ML, and intelligent automation to deliver scalable, responsible AI solutions aligned with product innovation and cloud modernization.

The role partners with product, engineering, and leadership to ensure AI initiatives meet business objectives and regulatory standards while advancing enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, AI, ML, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• 8+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• 5+ years managing engineering teams and technical leaders.
• 5+ years delivering enterprise-scale AI, ML, Data, or Cloud platforms.
• 4+ years hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, and AI architecture.
• 3+ years experience with Agentic AI, RAG, AI orchestration, and intelligent automation.
• Solid Python development background and familiarity with enterprise-scale AI platforms.
• Experience with AWS cloud-native services including Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/EKS, OpenSearch, and S3.
• Experience leading AI governance and model lifecycle management processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML adoption across teams, focusing on Generative AI and traditional ML techniques.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and improve AI-powered software solutions.
• Build responsible AI solutions ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
• Leverage cloud service offerings for efficient AI solutions.
• Develop new features using AI/ML, including predictive analytics and automation.
• Provide technical leadership for AI initiatives like chatbots and conversational AI.
• Partner with product management and engineering leadership to deliver scalable AI solutions.
• Drive alignment with enterprise AI strategies and ensure solutions meet business objectives.
• Mentor team members on AI/ML technologies and responsible AI practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI into cloud modernization efforts.
• Prioritize and manage AI-related activities and projects.
