Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Staff AI/ML Engineer in the United States to prototype and develop AI/ML algorithms across multiple disciplines including object detection, NLP, time series, and RL. You will join a small interdisciplinary team, analyze diverse data, review research, and contribute to training and deployment pipelines on AWS.

The role demands a strong background in Python, PyTorch, and deep learning architectures, plus hands-on experience with large-scale data and version control.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI Clearance required.
• B.S. degree in ML, CS, mathematics or related field.
• 8+ years of AI/ML development experience.
• Proficiency with Python and ML libraries (PyTorch, Lightning, OpenCV, NumPy, Polars).
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning.
• Experience with deep learning architectures.
• Experience using version control (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket).

Responsibilities

• Implement ML algorithms as part of a small interdisciplinary team.
• Analyze large multi-domain datasets (images, text, time series, graphs).
• Review and apply cutting-edge research publications.
• Create technical documentation and user guides.
• Understand training and deployment pipelines including AWS services.
• Provide training and mentoring to team members.
