Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions across national security missions. You will work on NLP/LLM pipelines, CV models, and scalable data pipelines, delivering production‑grade microservices and cloud‑native AI services.

The role requires 5+ years of ML experience, microservice deployments, and a TS/SCI clearance willingness for polygraph; Bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing ML models (NLP/LLM, CV, deep learning, generative AI).
• Experience deploying AI/ML capabilities in a microservice stack.
• Experience building production‑grade APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with data processing libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit‑learn.
• Experience deploying software in operational environments.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, GitLab, and containerization (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI/ML models (NLP, LLM pipelines, deep learning, CV).
• Build scalable data pipelines for training, evaluation, and improvement.
• Develop end‑to‑end production systems including microservices and cloud‑native services.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into operational environments focusing on security and reliability.
• Conduct model optimization, tuning, versioning, and AB testing.
• Apply Python/Java/Scala/Rust patterns in microservices and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to define approaches and gather requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation and support customer requirements.
