Job summary

EvolutionIQ is hiring an ambitious AI/ML Engineer to advance our medical synthesis product. You will own projects from ideation through deployment, making architectural decisions and guiding cross-functional teams.

You will design AI-powered features, leverage LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and ensure production-grade reliability. The role requires 5-8+ years of Python excellence, hands-on LLM experience, and strong collaboration with Product, Engineering, and SMEs to drive impactful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years writing performant Python code following modern best practices.
• Minimum 1 year of experience building and deploying products powered by large language models (LLMs).
• Proven experience leading technical projects from concept to production deployment.
• Experience making architectural decisions for AI/ML systems and evaluating tradeoffs.
• Hands-on experience with statistical ML, LLMs, RAG, and embeddings-based models.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML projects end-to-end, from ideation to deployment and optimization.
• Make high-level architectural and technical decisions for AI/ML systems.
• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered features for the claim synthesis product.
• Develop hybrid ML solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, and embeddings-based models.
• Write clean, scalable code and improve production AI/ML systems.
• Collaborate with data labelers and SMEs to improve model performance.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to iterate on feedback.
• Provide technical leadership and establish best practices across teams.
