Job summary

Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) seeks a senior software engineer with an AI/ML focus to lead the design, development, and deployment of data-intensive applications and APIs.

You will build scalable pipelines, manage large datasets, and operate ML inference services across cloud and containerized environments. You will collaborate with mission and data teams to translate customer needs into practical data, analytics, and software solutions, leveraging Spark, Elasticsearch, and other

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain CI polygraph.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of AI/ML focus.
• Experience developing and deploying analytics, ML, or data-intensive services.
• Experience building production APIs (FastAPI, Django, Java or equivalent).
• Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT, data quality, and data stores.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy data/ML applications and APIs for production use.
• Engineer and manage large-scale data pipelines and platforms (ETL/ELT, data quality, transformation).
• Deploy and operate ML models and inference services across cloud, containerized, and GPU/CPU environments.
• Collaborate with mission, engineering, and data teams to translate needs into scalable technical solutions.
