Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience integrating generative AI/LLMs into production software.
• Strong Python and experience with other languages listed.
• Experience building REST APIs, microservices, Git, CI/CD, and Agile.

Responsibilities

• Integrate AI chatbots and assistants into geospatial, analytics, visualization, and mission apps.
• Build natural-language workflows for data discovery, app navigation, visualization generation, and approved actions.
• Implement RAG, embeddings, vector search, function calling, or agent workflows.
• Connect AI services to REST APIs, data catalogs, search platforms, knowledge graphs, GIS, notebooks, and dashboards.
• Develop reusable backend services and frontend components for analysts.
• Enforce identity, entitlements, and data-access controls with citations and provenance.
• Test AI quality, safety, latency, and usability; protect against prompt injection and data leakage.
