Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced ML engineer to partner with stakeholders, translate business needs into scalable AI/ML solutions, and design end‑to‑end ML pipelines using Vertex AI, Gemini, and open‑source tools.

You will deploy scalable models, monitor drift, and collaborate with data engineers to ensure strong data architecture across Google Cloud services. Strong leadership and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• US Citizen (Public Trust Eligible).
• 3–6+ years in ML engineering, data science, or AI development.
• 3+ years leading technical teams to achieve objectives.
• Experience developing standards and processes for cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Ability to recommend technology strategies with deep expertise.
• Provide technical direction to ensure standards compliance.
• Experience with Google Cloud Storage, IAM, encryption, and backups.
• Strong Python and ML framework knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to identify and refine AI/ML use cases.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Design, build, fine‑tune, and evaluate ML and GenAI models using Vertex AI, Gemini, and open‑source tools.
• Develop end‑to‑end ML pipelines including data ingestion, feature engineering, orchestration, and CI/CD for models and prompts.
• Deploy scalable models and agents; monitor drift and production troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with data engineering to ensure high‑quality data architecture (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Feature Store).
• Implement Responsible AI, security, governance, and compliance practices (IAM, encryption, auditing).
• Work cross‑functionally with product owners and DevOps to deliver reliable AI solutions.
• Perform hands‑on experimentation, prototyping, EDA, hyperparameter tuning, and documentation.
