Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer, Growth & Marketing AI, to build transformer-based models that convert behavioral and financial data into personalized experiences for millions of members.

You will collaborate with Growth & Marketing, Product, and Engineering to deploy scalable AI systems. Base salary starts at $172,000 and can go up to $238,000, plus bonus and equity; actual offer depends on location and experience.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in building sequential and deep learning models beyond traditional NLP, esp. with financial/behavioral data.
• End-to-end ML lifecycle experience: training, experimentation, optimization, deployment, monitoring.
• Experience with large-scale transactional, financial, or behavioral datasets for predictive modeling.
• Hands-on with AWS and ML infra tools like SageMaker, Kafka, Airflow, Redis, Snowflake, Spark.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, distributed computing, and frameworks PyTorch/PySpark for scalable ML.
• Strong MLOps mindset with production ML deployment experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across Growth, Product, and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy sequential deep learning models and traditional ML systems to power growth and marketing initiatives.
• Build predictive models using large-scale financial, transactional, and behavioral datasets to improve personalization and engagement.
• Partner cross-functionally with Growth & Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to drive AI/ML initiatives.
• Design and improve infrastructure for training, serving, and monitoring large-scale ML systems in batch and real-time environments.
• Generate insights and recommendations that improve growth effectiveness and the member experience.
• Contribute to experimentation frameworks, optimization strategies, and scalable ML platform capabilities.
• Identify technology gaps and opportunities where AI/ML can create measurable business impact.
