Job summary

Sigma Computing in New York City is seeking an Senior AI/ML Engineer to build and productionize AI systems for the analytics platform. You will work on recommendations, natural-language interfaces, and agentic workflows, spanning the ML lifecycle and AI infrastructure.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, a strong foundation in ML, and experience shipping state-of-the-art AI systems. This is an on-site position in NYC with generous benefits and stock options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field (required).
• 10+ years building and deploying production-grade AI/ML systems.
• Full ML lifecycle experience: data curation, training, deployment, monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact AI/ML opportunities with product, design, and engineering teams.
• Prototype and productionize AI systems such as recommendations, NL interfaces, and agentic workflows.
• Develop and scale AI/ML infrastructure for internal tools and customer-facing features.
• Tackle UX problems at the intersection of AI, BI, and apps.
